Setting up Custom Tax

There are two type of tax setting supports Nexchar POS.

Custom tax setting for specific item

If your business operates in an area where certain items are taxed differently, you can easily set custom tax rules for individual products in Nexchar POS. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and log in to your Nexchar POS account.

  2. From the menu, click on “Items.”

  3. Find the product you want to update and click the “Edit” button next to it.

  4. Scroll to the “Tax Settings” section and check the box for “Enable custom tax.”

  5. Enter the custom tax rate in the “Tax in percent” field.

  6. Click “Save” to apply your changes.
